Senator Jim Webb stopped by the poolside party that our Committee co-hosted with the Hampton Democratic Committee. It was the night before the 2008 DPVA convention                                                     Here is the Senator chatting with NNDCC secretary Bea Berry.     

Here is Mayor Joe Frank addressing the crowd assembled for the poolside party. Joining him on stage is Hampton Mayor Molly Ward, State Senator Mamie Locke and Hampton Chair Gaylene Kanoyton.    The party was very well attended, the band was great and a good time was had by all. Thanks to all who choose to attend!

Congressman Bobby Scott was also in attendance and here is is with the Outreach Chair of the NNDCC, Chris Johnston.

The NNDCC recently hosted a Cookout and US Sentate straw poll. We had about 125 stop by to participate in fellowship and politics. Our new NNDCC banner made its debut at the event. By the way, Jim Webb was the overwhelming choice of those who participated in the straw poll.                                           

Thanks to Mayor Frank for stopping by the cookout. Here he is enjoying the afternoon with the Petocks. By the way, that is Williamsburg Committee Chair Frank Tillman in the backround. Also stopping by was Jen Little and Elinor Kostic, chairs of Matthews County and York County respectively. Democrats from Hampton, James City County and Virginia Beach also were in attendance, as well as Nick Kesslar from the Kaine Administration.

Tim Kaine, Leslie Byrne, Creigh Deeds are on hand with local committee chairs to present our first "Peninsula Democrat of the Year Award" to Congressman Bobby Scott. We had 250 great supporters attend this spectacular event at the new Hampton Roads Convention Center

The current Governor and our next Democratic US Senator on a spectacular day in Williamsburg at the Unity Rally.

Governor Tim Kaine recently visited Newport News to attend Mass with Senator Locke and Delegate BaCote. Later in the day, the Governor met friends and supporters.

Committee Chairs Charles Stanton and Gene Magruder are joined by John and Sharon Miller at the recent Tim Kaine visit to Newport News.
